The NE GA Science Symposium endeavors to connect local, passionate, Science experts with the community in which they live. We have AMAZING people living here, let’s learn what they know!
The backbone of the Symposium consists of 5 evenings where a different local Science expert talks about his or her area of expertise in an interactive, hands-on, family-friendly presentation for 50 minutes, followed by 10-15 minutes of questions from the audience.
There is NO religion at the Symposium.
No Evolution, No Scriptures,
No New Age-ism.
There are NO partisan politics at the Symposium.

There is a T-shirt Contest each evening before the Speaker.
Individuals design and wear their T-shirt to the presentation. T-shirts are judged by the audience based on 4 attributes:
1. Relevance to the topic, 2. Truth and accuracy, 3. Humor, 4. Clarity/ Legibility. Audience applause will determine the Winner each evening.
There is a different Rescue Society, Vendors, Sponsors, face-painting, and MORE every day!

Every other 3rd Thursday the NE GA Science Symposium in conjunction with Boomshakalaka Homeschool group presents a Science Talk, usually at Gwinnett Fire Station #24 near the Mall of GA, Buford. Please arrive between 6 and 6:30pm. The presentation begins promptly at 6:30pm and lasts about an hour, including questions.
